So let's tell you how it actually works
1. So you've contacted us regarding your car park or site.
2. We'll get back to you quickly and introduce ourselves. We'll let you know which member of the SBW team will be dedicated to you. Always nice to have the same point of contact.
3. Whilst having a chat on the phone we will Google Map and Street Map your car park/site and discuss the options available to you. We may ask for some WhatsApp pictures too.
You may need a simple permit scheme or have a whitelist of cars that you want to allow to park, we can accommodate most schemes. All you need to do is gather pictures, we will issue a parking charge notice in the post almost instantly. That's how this works.
4. If you want to go ahead, we will send a simple one page Contract which needs to be read and then signed. (You'll need the permission of the Freeholder/Landlord first though)
5. As soon as we have that back, we will get your parking enforcement signs manufactured and sent direct to you. We will have already plotted out exactly where the signs will need to go during our calls. Our signs easily attach with nails, screws or adhesive glue, so virtually anyone can put them up.
6. Whoever will be monitoring the site needs to be pre-approved by us and the trade association, the IPC. This is just to confirm that they know the rules of the site, how to record the evidence of contravention (simple as taking a few pictures) and acknowledge GDPR rules.
All we will ask is for one form of photo ID (passport or driving licence) of the person, which will be destroyed by us as soon as it's been confirmed by the IPC. By doing this, this will make the person a proper 'self ticketer'. This is the information all the other parking enforcement companies don't tell you.
7. We will teach the person how to take the pictures required the correct way so that every ticket can be issued legally.
8. Once the ID has been confirmed and the signs go up, it's pretty much go go go.
Tickets will be issued at discretion and no one will know where the ticket has come from, we're completely anonymous. You can report via Whatsapp, email or via or Smartphone App. which can be downloaded from any play store.
The cost, if there is any!
This subject is really dependent on the size of your car park or site. If you require just a few signs then we'll absorb the cost of those, that's not a problem. The majority of the sites we'll be attracting will fall into that category. If you need 20 signs (you must have a large site for that many!) then there may be a cost but it really does depend on the numbers that you can produce from self ticketing. For example, a large site may only achieve five tickets in a year, so we won't be able to recoup our costs, whereas it may achieve thirty tickets, so we can recoup our costs. We'll be totally up front with any costs.

Here's a challenge before proceeding with us
Google 'self ticketing parking' and have a look at how the national companies describe self ticketing, they all use the same jargon like "easy as 1, 2, 3" or "set up in minutes" and our favourite we see a lot "Create account, install signage and download our app".
It's not as easy as that ever, what we have described above is the correct way of doing it. There's nothing to hide about any of it, so we don't understand why no one explains it.
Some companies offer you money back if a ticket is paid. Experience within the industry tells us that this never works out and creates a toxic relationship.
